What colleges were you considering before deciding on Duke?
I looked at a ton of schools, as I was really uneducated when it came to the college/university system down south. I took visits to Brown, Maryland, Cornell and Duke. Did you always envision you would be where you are today or, did you picture something else for yourself?
Not sure I had any idea where I was going to end up. Definitely didn't predict that I'd be living in LA and playing in the NLL in Saskatoon. Pro lacrosse has always been a dream of mine, and I'm thankful that I get to do what I do. What's your current stick setup? (Head, mesh, shaft, tape job, ect.)
UA Unleashed Box head with and old UA head with Edmonton Rush Graphics on it. I use ECD Semi Soft mesh with a high pocket and four shooters. Tape with a knob and about 6 inches up the shaft. What do you look for in a pocket? Would you say your stick setup is pretty similar, for both box and field play?
I like great hold, but not enough to limit my quick passing/shooting ability. My sticks are very similar with the only difference being the width. My box setup is a little narrower than my field stick. What would you say is the most memorable moment, in your career?
Tough to pinpoint one. Winning a championship at any level is the greatest thing in sports, but I think the 2014 World Championship takes the cake for me. We were heavy underdogs to an incredible American team. Growing up, were you a multiple sport athlete or, did you strictly focus on lacrosse?
I'm a big supporter of the multi sport approach. I played 5 sports in high school with a main focus on hockey and lacrosse. What is your career outside of the sport and how do you balance you training & work schedule?
I oversee business development and partnership for an event agency based in Los Angeles. We operate national event series' for a number of high school sports. The schedule piece is tough, with a full time job and a growing family there isn't a ton of time leftover. That being said, I love the game and am willing to work hard enough to be able to keep playing. One personal goal for the rest of the 2016 season?
Win an NLL Championship and an MLL Championship. Please finish this sentence.... If Zach Greer was not a lacrosse player, he would be a...
food critic Lastly, What is one thing that people would be surprised to learn, about Zack Greer?
