What's your record for chicken nuggets eaten in one sitting? - Tyler Garrison #91 for the Vancouver Stealth.
- Great question Garri. I'm more of a chicken strip kinda guy, and those are about twice the size of a nugget. In one sitting ive put back roughly 15 strips. So we can argue 30 nuggets.
Which one of your NLL teammates would you least want to room on the road with? -Vancouver Stealth
- Tyler Garrison. He always ask's stupid questions.
Who's is your favorite professionsal Lacrosse player to hit the town with? -Marcus Holman, Georgia Swarm/Ohio Machine
- I'm a huge fan of the tag team duo of Kevin Cooper and Marcus Holman during the MLL season.
NLL I gotta go with Shayne Jackson of the Georgia Swarm.
What's your current stick setup? (head, shaft, mesh, tape placement etc).)
- MLL and WLA I use STX Surgeon head and shaft. While in the NLL I use the lightest Under Armour shaft I can find with a UA Vital. I only use East Coast Dyes mesh. My tape placement is a double candy cane up and down the shaft.
How would you say your box stick is different compared to your field stick? (Pocket placement, shooting string placement and head placement)
- I use the exact same string set up for box and field. I use a high pocket with double V shooters separated by a Nylon V. The pocket isnt very big so i can have a quick release, yet the V's give it quite a bit of snap.
If you could give one piece of advice to an athlete, looking to follow in your footsteps, what's would it be?
- Have fun. I've been playing lacrosse for 21 years now and I still love every minute of it. Whether its practice, games, or just messing around with your friends, have fun with it!
Where would you like to see the next MLL team?
- Somewhere on the West Coast. It would be awesome to see a team in Vancouver one day!
Was there someone or somebody that pushed and/or inspired you, to be the player you are today?
- My brother. He was an unbelievable player growing up and I always looked up to him while playing with and watching him. We would have our sticks in our hands everyday as kids and we would spend hours at the lacrosse box working on skills and pushing each other to be the best that we could be.
Favorite memory throughout your Lacrosse career?
=My entire senior year at Ohio State. Just an unbelievable group of players on and off the field that loved playing and spending time together. We won the Conference Championship that year. Go Bucks!
What does your workout regimen consists of during the season and off?
- I have a personal trainer that I have been going to for years now. His name is Scott Hebert at Excel Fitness and he trains a ton of NHL players as well. I dont really have an offseason playing NLL, MLL, and WLA. We work on a ton of different things but for me I love workouts that are lacrosse specific. Scotty always puts me through workouts designed specifically for lacrosse. Resistance training with sleds and tires, full body weight suits while shooting and dodging. Ive also been doing a lot of MMA and Boxing with him, just incase..
Tell us something about you that a lot of people don't know?
I'm a huge Carolina Panthers and Golden State Warriors fan.
Thanks for the advice & entertaining us too, Logan. You Rock! - LH
