Where did you grow up?
- Baltimore, MD and I attended Gilman School
Growing up, were you a. "multi sport athlete", or did you strictly focus on lacrosse?
- I was always a multi-sport athlete. I played football, basketball, ice hockey, baseball, golf and lacrosse growing up. You can always take different ideas from other sports and apply them to lacrosse.
What is your fastest recorded shot speed?
- 100mph

What/Who inspired you to play lacrosse?
- My dad who, ironically, played pro baseball. He was the one who inspired me to love sports in general, then when he started taking me to local games at John's Hopkins, Loyola and Towson I started to gravitate to lacrosse.
What was your favorite moment, from this past season, with the Boston Cannons?
- When Max Seibald hit the game-winner in overtime against the Bayhawks to send us to the playoffs.

What is your workout plan to help get faster and more explosive (gym regimen)? Footwork drills?
- You can never do too much ladder work. Its always good to start a workout with a ladder routine to help your foot speed and quickness.
Do you string all your own sticks, or do you have a stringer that knows exactly what you like?
- I string my own sticks. I like being able to know how to adjust my pocket if I need to. I learned from my friend Peter Zouck who was an All-American defenseman at Dickinson College.
Who is the best defenseman you have played against?
- Brodie Merrill
What is your weapon of choice?
- Surgeon 500 head and surgeon pole from STX.
What are your favorite pair of cleats?
- I am a big fan of the Nike Vapor cleats
What is your stick set up now, compared to how it was in college?
- In college I used three high shooters and a wider stick to meet NCAA regulations. Now I use only 2 shooters and they are lower in my stick. I have continued to use a mid to high pocket.
What are your personal goals for the 2016 MLL Season?
- Winning a MLL championship.
Who is the best basketball player in the MLL? - Scott Ratliff & Will Manny
- I can't speak for the whole league but I would take Ratliff in a game of 1v1
Congrats Davey, on Receiving The Brine, MOST IMPROVED PLAYER of the YEAR Award!
You Rock!
