Kevin answers questions from Lacrosse Hub Fans..

-Where did you grow up?

New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

Where do you reside now?

Philadelphia, PA

•At what age did you pick up a Lacrosse Stick?

As soon as I could walk. My grandpa played so he passed the sport on to me.

•Growing up, were you a, "multi sport athlete", or did you strictly focus on lacrosse?

I played hockey in the winters and lacrosse in the summers growing up. I also dabbled in basketball and golf.

•What made you chose lacrosse over other sports?

I loved playing the game in any capacity, back yard lacrosse, field, box, you name it. My uncle worked for a lacrosse company too so that made getting the gear easier. On top of that I had a bad high ankle sprain that made it tough to skate so it kind of funneled me towards lacrosse.

•Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I try to just listen to my body and do what I feel it needs to be prepared for the game...If that makes sense.

Does your diet change during the season vs. off season?

I'd say it stays fairly consistent. It can be tough in season to eat healthy though because of all the traveling so I'd say I eat a bit healthier in the offseason.

What do your weekly workouts look like during the off season?

Monday is usually a heavy lift day, Tuesday agilities, Wednesday heavy lift, Thursday conditioning, and then Friday is a full body lift with some cardio.

Is it hard to transition from indoor (box) to outdoor (field)?

Yes, I use an Under Armour stick in box but you have to use a different company in the MLL so that can be a tough adjustment. Also, your spacing on the field is completely different with long poles out there so that takes some time to get used to

What is your Stick set up for box?

This past season I used an Under Armour Vital with a UA Charge Sci-Ti shaft. I like that combo because its can hold up to the contact of box but is still really light.

What do you enjoy doing when off the field?

I like going to the beach, playing my guitar, and hanging out with my friends

Where do you see the MLL in 10 years?

Hopefully there will be teams in 15 cities, all with strong fan support, and players making a living just playing lacrosse professionally.
